Standard M14 and M1A steps are very easily put in working with current M14 resources, making the conversion a real fall-in. As Section of the Arctic Rifle System the M14 in its current wood and synthetic stocked configuration was not like minded to generally be conveniently deployed in confined Areas and harsh environments.
